The GABA PAK is designed to correct a deficiency in the neurotransmitter GABA which in adequate amounts relieves anxiety and helps keep your mood stable. You may have used an anxiety drug such as Xanax or Klonapin to correct a GABA deficiency. Or you may have created the deficiency by use of these drugs. Regular and/or heavy use of these drugs will further deplete GABA stores as these drugs fool the brain into believing there is no need to produce more GABA. Anti-anxiety drugs are highly addictive and once you are on them you will probably find that you will need higher and higher doses to get the same effect.
